What happens on the day?
On arrival at The Shard for your allotted time, you will be required to go through a security check before being taken to one of the buildings two ‘kaleidoscopic elevators’ elevators which will take you at full speed to level 69 in a matter of seconds.
This 360 degree view of London’s skyline will be bought to life with multimedia presentations that will talk you through the sights and sounds of the great city from past and present.
Afterwards, you will ascend to the highest viewing platform of The Shard itself, as well as the UK, and be treated to a dramatic, open-air experience, seeing London as you have never seen it before.
This breath-taking and unforgettable experience will then be topped off by a visit to Marco Pierrie White’s Steak and Ale House in Bishopsgate where you will be offered a complimentary cocktail from the restaurants exclusive menu, followed by a delicious three course meal.
The restaurant specialises in high quality steaks, roasted meats, fish, and timeless British puddings. Coffees, teas and other beverages will be available at an extra charge and a 12.5% discretionary service charge will be added to your bill.
What is the minimum age requirement?
The minimum age for this experience is 16. Under 18s will be offered a non-alcoholic alternative to a cocktail on arrival at the restaurant.
How long does it last?
We recommend that you allow at least 2 hours at the restaurant, however, there is no time restriction on either The Shard visit, or the three course meal. Feel free to enjoy the day at your leisure and make the most of this fantastic experience.
When is it available?
The View from The Shard is available 7 days a week, however upon booking you will be given an allocated timeslot in order to avoid queues. Your entrance will only be valid on the specific date and time of your booking with Acorne Plc. Shard tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, so it is recommended that you check all bookings and times to avoid disappointment.
A lunchtime menu is available at Marco Pierre White’s Steak and Ale House between 12.00 and 15.00, while the evening menu is on offer between the hours of 17.30 and 22.00. Please make sure you book your table at the restaurant in plenty of time to avoid disappointment, Friday and Saturday bookings are required at least 48 hours before the date.
